Sketching

When it's not raining (tropical storm Faye) or very hot, I try to find a sketching spot with a breeze. No breeze...gnats! They really aren't as bad as I expected.

This is the corner of First & Main. It's a mexican restaurant- so I left some details out- chili peppers etc :)

Vacation 2008

We didn't think we would get a vacation this year- with moving and all! Thankfully mom & dad (maloney) planned their vacation so that we were in driving distance! YEA! We had a great time relaxing on the beach. Deiken was even there... even though he didn't make it into any pictures.

about 13 hours...

So, we made it. The Wuthrichs officially live in Georgia!

The #1 question we've been asked is, "How long was the drive?". About 13 hours... from most of you. Now you won't forget how long it will take you to come visit us! Really, it's not that bad!

I find myself wanting to take pictures in strange places... like the grocery store. I guess you can probably buy grits in Illinois, but I doubt you get the kind of selection the Piggly Wiggly offers!
